Scope of Activity
- Preparation of the PR strategy of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (hereinafter: Federation) with benchmarks, intentions, goals and manner in which Government’s communications are to be governed;
- Continual and long-term shaping of public opinion aimed at meeting with public and socially beneficial interest by providing accurate facts and by communicative understanding;
- Planned and efficient information management in terms of proactive action;
- Informing local and foreign public on work of the Government of the Federation, of the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minsters, Ministers, i.e. ministries they are heading, through preparing press releases and other informative material, organizing press-conferences and when required, accrediting the journalists for work in the territory of the Federation for purpose of following the work of the Government of the Federation;
- Preparing and providing answers and information upon journalists’ questions and queries;
- Organizing media coverage of work of the Government of the Federation;
- Organizing media and public appearance of the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Ministers;
- Organizing media campaigns aiming to promote developing and other projects of the Government of the Federation;
- IT supported data processing and keeping of press clips indicative for work of the Government of the Federation and data necessary for preparation of informative material required by local and foreign journalists, Offices of the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Ministers and Federal Ministers;
- Gathering, IT-supported processing and presentation of data on WEB-site of the Government of the Federation and daily updating the web-site;
- Permanent administration of the WEB-site of the Government of the Federation according to the Decision on WEB-site of the Government of the Federation BiH (“Official Gazette of the Federation BiH” No. 38/00);
- Achieving a two-way communication and higher level of cooperation with stakeholders (NGO sector, scientific and professional community);
- Achieving stronger cooperation with all level authorities;
- Strengthening of the communication within the Government and with Government’s agencies and their PR officers, with full application of adopted standards (Law on Freedom of Access to Information), aimed at providing accessibility to information management and events related to communications issues;
- Preparing and supplying answers and information upon requests of the citizens according to the Law on Freedom of Access to Information of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (“Official Gazette of the Federation BiH” No. 32/01);
- Following-up enforcement of laws and regulations in area of information;
- Administrative – technical and professional –operational tasks, other than those organized in some other manner, and as well other tasks related to the Office scope, and assigned to it by the Government of the Federation.
